It’s fortunate that cats can’t talk, because you have a lot of secrets. The cat knows.

IN 1990, Peter Howe at Life magazine sent me to North Carolina to photograph a special school for children with problems. The school was a very strange place because all of the twenty or so children were in the same classroom and their problems ranged from mild behavior instability to severe schizophrenia.
Nine-year-old Amanda was the most interesting child in the class. She was my favorite child. Amanda was very intelligent and very naughty. One day I followed her home on the school bus. When the bus stopped at her house, she dashed ahead of me and ran into a nearby wooded area. I continued to follow her into the woods and eventually found her sitting in an old stuffed chair having a cigarette. She thought that I would reprimand her since I was an adult. But I said nothing.
The following Sunday, I spent the day at home with Amanda and her mother. Amanda totally controlled her mother. She constantly gave her orders and proceeded to put on her mother's nail polish and makeup. Amanda smoked openly in front of her. Her 8-year-old cousin Amy was coming over, and she was very excited. All day long, Amanda and her cousin played like children. Every forty-five minutes or so, Amanda would take a break to have a cigarette. Her mother could say nothing; Amanda was the boss.
Just before I left, I looked for Amanda to say good-bye. I found her and Amy in the backyard. They were in a children's inflatable pool. Amanda was taking her regular cigarette break.

New York city, the city that never sleeps.
New York City is a place I wanna visit, revisit and visit again. I actually want to live there some day. I love New York, even though I've never been there. Its cultural diversity gives me the feeling of awe. Whenever I see an image of NYC on the internet or a scene from a movie I just get goose bumps.
Despite the fact that I've never been to New York, I've done some research regarding the places that one can visit. I'm actually still spending hours and hours looking for a blog that posts images of NYC and describes how wonderful it is. I mean it's NEW YORK. It's big. I adore it, not only for it's cultural diversity, but also for it's beautifully designed buildings.
I am a dreamer. I know that this whole shit sounds absurd, I mean making plans for my far future. But That's just who I am. New York is the city of my dreams. I wanna hear the hustle and bustle of this city, I bet it's beautiful. I wanna see the endless amount of cars flowing in it's streets, go and have a coffee in one of the many coffee shops of NYC. Eat a Subway Burger. Have a walk in Central Park or maybe read a book. Get lost under the lights of Times Square.

I HATE EXAMS!!!
These are a few of MANY thing that I hate about exams:
1- The stress that comes with it.
2- Studying for hours and hours.
3- The headache after studying non'stop for like 2 hours.
4- The unsettled feel it bring when you feel that you have not studied enough..
5- JUST HATE IT!
The education system in Greece sucks big time.
There are no computers in every classroom.
There are inadequate instruments for chemistry and physics lab.
You have to study your ass off EVERY DAY for at least 3 HOURS after school, if you wanna get into a university.

After my last break up... which was the most awful thing that could ever happen... I never though that I would be able to go into a relationship.
But on day, this beautiful, kind hearted girl came. She was a gentle summer breeze. Her smile was so warm that she made the ice in my heart melt.
Her skin... pale white... Her eyes blue like the sea.... You can easily get lost....
I like her a lot and...
I think I'm in love with her.
And she's mine (:
